Understanding Pairing Mode

Pairing mode is a crucial step in establishing a wireless connection between your TiVo Stick and other Bluetooth devices, such as headphones, speakers, and controllers. When your TiVo Stick is in pairing mode, it becomes discoverable to other devices, allowing them to connect and establish a communication channel.

To put your TiVo Stick in pairing mode, you typically need to press and hold a specific button or combination of buttons on the device for a few seconds. This action activates the pairing mode and sends a signal to nearby devices that the TiVo Stick is ready to pair. The specific button or button combination used for pairing mode may vary depending on the TiVo Stick model you have, so it’s recommended to consult the user manual or online support resources for your particular device.

It’s important to note that pairing mode is usually indicated by a flashing LED light on your TiVo Stick. This light serves as a visual cue that the device is actively searching for and accepting pairing requests. Once a successful connection is established, the LED light will typically stop flashing and remain steady or indicate a different status. Additionally, some TiVo Stick models may provide audible cues or on-screen prompts to guide you through the pairing process.
